Tanker 4

Tanker 4 Is a 1984 Chevrolet 1 ton 4X4. Tanker 4 also known as "Little Squirt" responds on grass and woods fires. Tanker 4 is equipped with a 200 gallon tank, booster line, fire rakes and other equipment used to fight grass and woods fires.

Tanker 4 is being replaced with a 2012 Ford F-550 Brush/Quick Attack apparatus made possible by a $127,000 DHS/FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant in 2010. The new truck will have a 300 gallon tank, 360 gpm pump, front bumper "forestry nozzle" remote operated from the cab and will carry extrication and medical equipment. The new truck will respond on brush fires, motor vehicle collisions and medical calls. The new truck is presently in production with delivery expected mid spring 2012. Tanker 4 may be renamed to Pumper 4, Attack 4 or other name to be determined prior to delivery. Please check back on this page for pictures of the new truck as it goes through production.
