COUNTY HWY 48 HOUSE FIRE 2/03/2005
Haleyville Fire/Rescue & Bear Creek Fire/Rescue responded to this house fire in the Wiley Branch Community on Thursday February 5th, 2005. Upon arrival firefighters were faced with heavy fire and smoke conditions and were unable to make an interior attack. Once safe to enter, Firefighters were able to locate a package containing tax refunds of the occupants. Responding Apparatus included Haleyville Pumper 1, Tankers 5,6,Rescue 1, Bear Creek 791 and Regional Paramedical Services Medic 822.
