A mid-morning fire Saturday November 6th, 2010 caused heavy damage to this residence on Marion County Highway 143. Haleyville, Bear Creek & Delmar Fire Departments responded to the call around 10:30 A.M. with crews returning to service just before 7:00 p.m. Over 77 SCBA were used battling this blaze. Responding apparatus and agencies included Haleyville Pumper 2, Tanker 5, Rescue 1, Delmar Pumper 4, Bear Creek 791, Regional Paramedical Services and Alabama Power.
